In 2016, after more than fifty years of playing and singing in covers bands, I decided to start writing some of my own songs. Since then I have written and recorded six albums of songs. All tracks are available on Spotify and other streaming platforms (see Spotify in the menu above). I have also made several music videos for YouTube - select the YouTube menu item above to find out more.

!!NEWS FLASH!!
In October 2025 I was contacted by the BBC asking if I would sing "Hampshire Born" live on Radio Solent on the Spinnaker Tower's observation platform to mark the 20th anniversary of the tower's opening. In the event, because of time constraints, I only sang the last chorus which mentions the Spinnaker Tower but I did have a brief chat on air and a reprise of the last chorus. Many thanks to presenter Rick Jackson and his assistant Justine Field who were welcoming and generally lovely.
In the 2019 UK Songwriting Contest, eight of my songs were awarded certificates including Imagine a Boy which reached the final five.
